Artist & Officiant . . .
In creating custom ceremonies, Tracy Masington, M.A., calls upon an eclectic background in education, training, and experience. This includes study and practices derived from the fields of world religions; Eastern philosophy (meditation, yoga and Buddhism); anthropology; psychology (in which she hold a master’s degree); journalism (a bachelor’s degree); indigenous cultural practices for healing and ritual; transformational arts; and public relations (a former, 16-year career which enables her to understand and meet the needs of the “audience”). This variety of training provides the foundation for unlimited creativity and is complimentary to serving individuals, couples and communities with differing backgrounds.
As a legal wedding officiant, Tracy creates and conducts predominantly non-denominational ceremonies for those who may define themselves as more “spiritual” than religious. She is best suited for couples who want something completely original. The fusion of her work as a writer, ceremony designer and officiant has created a signature style often described in the wedding industry as "interactive artwork for the wedding day."

In addition to ceremony design, Tracy works in private practice providing psychotherapeutic counseling services. She holds a master's degree in Clinical Psychology and specializes in facilitating the process of “Discovery and Pursuit of Your Calling: The Fine Art of Figuring Out What To Do (Next) With Your Life.” ™ Her approach to counseling is guided by principles of Mindfulness Meditation and Post-Modern psychology emphasizing collaboration over interpretation. The resulting experience for clients is one of openness and teamwork in creating change.
